Our Story
Hi, I’m Cyd Hall, the founder and director of The Lime Light Learning Academy. We are located in Manchester, GA, nestled at the foothills of the beautiful Pine Mountains. Just beyond our back door, you'll find Roosevelt’s Little White House, FDR State Park, and Callaway Gardens—an area rich in history and natural beauty.
After spending 22 years in the public school system, I witnessed firsthand the challenges that often make it difficult for students to flourish. While I deeply respect the dedication of teachers and administrators, I longed for an approach that nurtures a child’s natural curiosity, fosters a love for learning, and creates a warm, welcoming environment where students feel truly seen and valued. That dream led to the creation of The Lime Light Learning Academy.
The name of our school was truly an inspiration from God. The Lime Light has proven to be the perfect name in so many ways. Here, every child has the opportunity to shine—not just those who excel academically or athletically, but every student who walks through our doors. Our school has also become a beacon of hope for families in our small, rural community, offering an educational experience that aligns with their values and vision for their children.
What began as a small, half-day preschool program has now blossomed into a full-day school, serving children from K3 through Third Grade. As more families seek an alternative to traditional education, we continue to grow, providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment.
I invite you to explore our unique approach to education—one where children are encouraged to thrive, discover, and bask in The Lime Light.
Basking in The Lime Light,
Ms. Cyd
